By using PillVera ("the Service"), whether as a consumer, API client, or manufacturer, you agree to these terms.
The Service checks drug registration numbers against our cached copy of NAFDAC's register, checks doctors against our curated copy of MDCN's register, and cross-references drug names for documented interaction warnings using RxNorm/openFDA label data.
The Service is not a substitute for professional medical or pharmacy advice. A "found" or "not found" result reflects the state of our records, which may lag behind the official registers or contain errors. The drug interaction checker is explicitly not a scored clinical interaction verdict — it surfaces documented label-text mentions only. Always consult a licensed doctor or pharmacist for medical decisions, especially before starting, stopping, or combining medications.
Individuals get a limited number of free checks per day. Exceeding the free limit requires creating an account and either paying per check or subscribing, at the prices shown at the time of payment. We may change free-tier limits or pricing; changes apply going forward, not retroactively.
Business accounts are created with "pending" status and reviewed before live API calls are approved — this is a manual identity-verification step, not a technical delay we can skip. You're responsible for keeping your API key confidential; calls made with your key are treated as made by you. Wallet funds are non-refundable except at our discretion or as required by law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to circumvent rate limits or pricing, or violate these terms.
Manufacturer accounts are reviewed before a "Verified Manufacturer" badge or product claim goes live. Submitting false company or registration information to claim a product you don't own is a terms violation and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
You agree not to: scrape or bulk-extract data beyond your API plan's intended use; attempt to probe for or exploit disabled/hidden endpoints; submit false corrections or impersonate another business or manufacturer; or use the Service to facilitate the sale of counterfeit or unregistered drugs.
The Service is provided "as is." We do our best to keep cached records accurate and current, but we do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on a result from this Service.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
